I scream you scream we all scream for

ICE CREAM! We gave Bryn her first taste of ice cream. Like a true Noby she loved it! I had originally planned to only give her a few bites, she ended up enjoying 10. She would reach for the bowl and grab at the spoon if it passed her by to my mouth. Now if she sees anyone eating out of a bowl she will crawl over to investigate the contents, if it proves to be ice cream she will open her mouth and wait for a bite.

So Frustrating!

It is 3:15 am for the past 2hours I have listened to my 8 month old scream her head off with no sign of stopping. This is normal she screams every night from 1 until about 3:30 or at least has since January 3rd when we decided to try to get her to sleep through the night. Here is how her night goes, bedtime between 7:30 and 8, wake up 1.5 hours later eat, wake up at 11 pm cry for an hour then fall back to sleep, wake up again at 1 and cry until 3:30, sleep until 7. It makes no difference if I put her to bed later. We have had a few random sleep through the nighters but by few I mean only two. If I allow her to nurse when she wakes she wakes more frequently. I have tried all those wonderful books about baby sleeping through the night crap, not working!!! I am usually the only one who wakes during this wonderful time of the night. A pillow over my head muffles the sound a little, but it is just a little difficult to sleep through your child crying. Kenna usually sleeps straight through the noise, even being in the same room however, tonight she has added insult to injury, woken up came to my bed and peed in it!! Well I now have sheets to wash and a memory foam mattress to take care of. I hope you all have slept well.

I must take this time to thank General Mills for making Cheerios! Yes those wonderful circles full of grain have made our lives so much easier! Bryn loves them as a mid morning snack. In fact not only does she look like my sister Tiffany, but she also has the same feelings towards cold cereal. She is a little grumpy until she has some. I put her in her highchair dump a few on the tray, and I have 30 minutes to do whatever needs to be done in peace and quiet.

This morning Kenna asked if she could play with her friends. I said sure thinking that I would call a local friend and have them come over. When I asked who she would like to play with Kyle, Amy, Kelsey, Thomas? She said "I want to play with my favorite buddies Conner and Easton at their house." She was more than a little upset when I said that they were in Idaho and she would have to wait until April to play with them. So we have printed off this picture and she is upstairs playing in her room with them.

Please Touch

I took the Girls to the Please Touch Museum last week. We took along a friend Oliva. They had such a good time. Everything is kid friendly and can be touched. They have such fun exhibits. Kenna is on the boat to where the Wild things Are. Kenna and Olivia had tea with the Mad Hatter Bryn of course was the cutest cabbage in the patch. Kenna getting ready to do some serious grocery shopping. She said she was going to get snacks so she could studdy.Livvy helped her check out. They sure had a ton of fun.
